This reworked vintage cocktail dress is one of our favorite pieces. The taffeta peplum skirt was an amazing original aspect of this dress, and we just had to shorten the hem and create a structured shoulder to make it a go-to option for a black-tie event, a formal cocktail party, or a swanky evening wedding.

We love the cheerful color palette of this sweet 1960s shift — perfect for outdoor drinks, an impromptu barbecue, or a low-key dinner.

An ultra-feminine vintage lace pencil skirt is on-trend but also ladylike enough for a dinner with the fam. We’ve paired it with a vintage teal silk wrap blouse and a braided gold belt.

This vintage cotton dress, handmade in Hong Kong, is a super-flattering option for a casual lunch date. We’ve added a navy stretch belt and an embroidered woven purse.

“Creative cocktail” might be the trickiest dress code to navigate — but don’t fret, we’ve got the perfect look for you! This reworked vintage dress, with a velvet bodice, gorgeous silk taffeta peplum skirt, and sculptural shoulder detailing, is a must.
We’re featured in Brightest Young Thing’s photo story on creative cocktail today! In honor of Artini, the Corcoran’s gala celebrating cocktails and art, the BYT team spent some time in our showroom, indulging in doughnuts and coffee and selecting an amazing array of sequin, chiffon, and lace pieces, plus some to-die-for accessories. Check out our favorite photos here, and click over to BYT for the full story.
